About Us

MATES was founded in 2022 by Lance May, a civil engineer living in Queensland who wanted to get super rich and started the society to help him do this. Lance is 32 years old and has worked for several large engineering consultancies. Rhett, Mitch and Stephen were all instrumental in helping to set up the society with Lance. Rhett, Mitch and Stephen are also all engineers who want to make sure money through being good entrepreneurs. The society's trust fund was established with the aim of helping all members become rich through their entrepreneurial ventures.

While MATES have good fun, we take our entrepreneurship seriously. Our goal is to help all members achieve financial success through their business ventures. Whether you're just starting out or you've been in business for years, MATES is here to help you reach your full potential.

A Five-Step Guide to Making Millions (or Losing Your Shirt) with Your Own Business

MATES beleives these five simple steps can take you from being a wage slave to the next Elon in no time at all.

• Come up with a brilliant business idea. This could be anything from selling pet rocks to offering a "rent a friend" service. Just make sure it's something that no one else has thought of, and that there's a market for it (or create one, if necessary).
• Get a catchy name for your business. Something that people will remember, like "Rock Your World" or "BFFs for Hire". Bonus points if it's a pun.
• Create a logo that looks professional, yet approachable. If you're not artistically inclined, hire a graphic designer. But if you're on a tight budget, just use clip art.
• Advertise like crazy. Start with social media, then move on to billboards, TV commercials, and blimps (if you can afford it). The more people that know about your business, the better.
• Finally, sit back and watch the money roll in. And if it doesn't, just keep telling yourself that you're one step closer to becoming a successful entrepreneur. Or you can always go back to selling pet rocks on the side of the road. There's no shame in that.
